Navratri Celebrations 2011
Dharmaj Society of London was very proud to host it’s 2011 Navratri celebrations in the South. It took the bold decision to host these at Shirley High School, in Croydon, Surrey in order to widen its cultural services to a new audience. Garba nights were held between 28 September and 5 October with an additional Poonam Special on 11 October.
Music and singing was hosted by Nitu Shah and Group who really got the atmosphere livened up!
DHASOL achieved this with great success as the photographs show and is particularly delighted to have noted that a lot of new but familiar faces from the past attended from the wider Patidar community as well as its members.
A resounding success and by great public request we will be looking to repeat this along with other events in 2012.
