Dharmaj Society of London - Navratri 2016

We were delighted to host our annual Navratri festival at the ever-popular Oasis Academy, Shirley – Croydon. In addition to a wonderful array of musicians and performers we had the pleasure of seeing so many regular attendees as well as a noticeably new young crowd who also enjoyed shopping for Diwali presents such as SalvarKhameez, Sarees, bangles and costume jewellery from our stall holders!

It is important that our cultural values continue to be passed on to generations and this certainly was the case as you will see from the wonderful photographs that follow.

We are ever grateful for the regular volunteers who outnumbered our committee helpers – so thank you to you all for the hard work as well as dedication over the festival. They helped serve up some delicious ‘Samosas ‘, ‘Papdi no lot’ and Sevsar.

We would also like to thank our sponsors and donors who support us throughout the year.
